Talking Tuesday

Today's Military....

To my readers who are Veterans... if you were a young man/woman today, would you enlist?

To my readers who are of the 'younger' generation, would you enlist?

To my readers who are parents of our 'younger' generation...would you encourage your child to enlist?

To all who choose to reply to this question....why or why not?

I would because of the adventure and to get out of the house...just like back in the day. But I pray that my grandson does not go. At least wait until after I have gone on to the other side. If he dose go, I will be just as proud and worry just as much as you do over yours.

Would I enlist? Tough question. I did in '66, but with today's Democrats (actually Marxists) in charge of our new gay & co-ed military, I would not. And I don't like saying that.

I've often thought that if I had been a guy, I would have been all about the military. My kids call me the drill sergeant:)

I would like to think that in an event of a SERIOUS crisis... I would enlist... like if something like 9/11 happened again I would.
